Cultivating Sustainable Partnerships: Building Multi-Level Partnerships to Address Health Disparities in Low-Income Populations

This fun and interactive in-person workshop is designed for all organizations across sectors to strengthen capacity to build, navigate, and sustain effective cross-sector partnerships that address complex community needs that impact the overall health of populations where they live, work, play, learn, worship & receive healthcare. Participants will have opportunities for guided practice, discussion, and peer exchange.
Audience:
- All organizations and professionals interested in improving the overall health of communities and/or low-income populations (rural and metropolitan communities).
- Academic institutions (including community colleges, HBCUs, etc.)
- Coalitions, alliances, etc.
- Community colleges and all academic institutions
- Employee health professionals, societies, associations, etc.
- Government programs (including all chronic diseases, nutrition, physical activity, transportation, etc.): State, county, city, and rural town
- Healthcare systems, practices, as well as healthcare societies, associations, etc.
- Nonprofits, community-based organizations (CBOs), faith-based organization (FBOs) and foundations
